So I'm in the process of cleaning up my Z. I pulled the wipers and cowls off earlier. Needed to clean out all the crap that had fallen through the cowls. Right now I've got a lot more time than moeny, and I have a LOT of other things both cosmetic and not, that I would do first before I'd spend money on new cowls. So, keeping that in mind, an suggestions on how to repair the missing ribs? They were knocked out(and the cowl broken) by a hailstorm. I was thinking og cutting a small nail or screw to a size that would fit in the gap and epoxying it in. Then building up over the nail/screw with expoxy. Once it's all dry I could shape it using my Dremel. I doubt I'd be able to get it perfect, but it would be less noticeable than the missing pieces are now. I'm going to paint the cowls and wiper bases while I have them off.
Thanks for any ideas,
